I have 2 non-negotiables:

1) He must be a Christian - as in a follow of Jesus Christ; more than just knowing the bible stories from being a kid drug to church.

2) He must be a Cowboy - a real cowboy. As in if I were to invite him to take a finished barrelhorse for a spin, he won't fall off. As in he can rope better than I can. As in, if I invite him to go for a ride, he has all his own equipment including his own horse.

Bonus item - He is handy under a hood and in the tool shed - very sexy for a man to be able to do it all himself.

Most important thing is that he is a Christian, a true follower of Jesus Christ. Second is that he is a cowboy. A real cowboy, not a dude, as in if I need some help saddling and warming up multiple horses at a barrelrace, he can saddle one and I won't have to redo it when he's not looking and he can ride well enough that I'm not embarrassed to ride next to him. Finally, it's not a dealbreaker at all but I'd like to date someone who also has kids. Being a single parent is a big job and I just want a man who understands my heart for my children. There is obviously all the typical stuff to add here, like funny, handsome, easy-going, blah blah blah... but I figured I'd be more efficient laying out the 3 real most important things rather than the traditional stuff that everybody puts.
